Policy
All refund appeal
notice must be written at 21 days prior commencement of
term. The refund policy of the ACS is that, except in the
case of a successful appeal against an examination result, no fees will
be returned to candidates.
ACS Exam Marking Fees and Refunds

A candidate must pay a fee to the Australian Computer
Society when:
(a) applying to sit an examination
(b) applying for recognition of prior learning
(c) requesting to defer an examination
(d) appealing an examination result and
(e) requesting a Statement of Attainment.

All fees must be paid in Australian dollars (A$) and
may be made by credit card or cheque.
Instructions for the payment of fees
are provided on the relevant application forms.
The refund policy of the ACS is that, except in the
case of a successful appeal against an examination result, no fees will be
returned to candidates.
The ACS will, however, consider deferring an
examination to the next available date if a candidate is ill or injured, or
bereaved on the day of a scheduled examination.
