Applying for Admission
Once you have chosen the program you would like to study, you will need
to organise your application for admission. Please download and
complete the Enrollment Application form (PDF).
Please ensure you include all required information in your application
as applications that do not contain sufficient information will be
rejected. The requirements are listed on page three of the Application
for Admission form.
If you are applying for Recognition of Prior Learning, please fill out the Application for Recognition of Prior Learning (PDF) and include it in your application.
Admission Requirements
Diploma and Degree programs:
- English Language Proficiency: IELTS score of 6.5 (Academic) or TOEFL 550 or
Cambridge. Acceptance of your application will be at the discretion of the MIBA
officer responsible for academic affairs.
- Academic Requirement: Entry to the Bachelor of Business Administration
requires completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 12 at a level deemed
acceptable.
At the discretion of MIBA, students without this
qualification may undertake the Diploma of Business and progress to the
Associate degree with the full credit for units completed. Recognition may also
be given to an equivalent qualification, or completed equivalent studies from a
recognised higher education provider.
Master programs:
- English Language Proficiency: IELTS score of 6.5 (Academic) or TOEFL 550 or
Cambridge.
- Academic pre-requisites: A recognised* Bachelors Degree or a combination of
academic qualifications and appropriate work experience.
In general,
students who do not have a recognised Bachelors Degree will need the following
qualifications and experience (AQF refers to the Australian Qualification
Framework):
- AQF equivalent Advanced Diploma plus four years work experience, or
- AQF Diploma plus eight years work experience, or
- AQF Higher School Certificate plus 10 years work experience, or
- AQF School Certificate plus 12 years work experience.
